July 2009 - The City of Youngstown conducted their first ever on-line auction. There were 45 items ranging from Computer Parts to Tractors that took 757 bids. The auction items had an opening price of $2,400 and ended at $24,000.

June 2009 - Ashtabula County Lodge and Conference Center auctions old furniture. There were 38 items ranging from Armoires to End Tables that took 470 bids. The auction items had an opening price of $380.00 and ended at $1,120.00.

May 2009 - Geneva on the Lake began using on-line auctions to sell two retired police cruisers, a van and a boat for over $10,000.00.

April 2009 - Hamilton County announces their grand total of items sold through on-line auction tops $900,000.00!!!

March 2009 - The Village of McDonald auctioned two seized Pickup trucks for $11,500.00.

March 2009 - Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office released items from their evidence room ranging from video games to power tools. The auction items had an opening price of $885.00 and ended at $2,206.09.

February 2009 - Austintown Township auctioned 4 retired vehicles ranging from 1989 to 1999, including one car that had been crushed by a tree. The vehicles had a starting price of $2,000.00 and ended at over $3,500.00.

January 2009 - Over one-third of Ohio Counties are now using on-line auction for disposition of all or part of their surplus items.

December 2008 - City of Perrysburg begins on-line auctions with items ranging from bicycles to diving equipment. The items had a starting price of $1,266.00 and ended at $4,130.28.

September 2008 - Lake County Metroparks auctioned retired vehicles and other miscellaneous items. The items had a starting price of $1,905.00 and ended at over $11,000.00.

August 2008 - Village of Bethel clears out their storage rooms to auction items ranging from bicycles to surveillance cameras. The 120 auction items had a starting amount of $615.00 and ended at $2,982.38.
