LightGov, LLC was founded in April, 2000 with the objective of providing creative, effective and cost-saving online solutions for state and local government, their agencies, and other not for profit entities. In the past 8 years, we have been successful in building a suite of products, all accessed and deployed by the public sector over the Internet. LightGov’s main products consist of: egovmarkets.com and eguardianship.com. Technology solutions are highly functional, up-to-date, secure, scalable, and available 24/7. We are confident that our systems will continue to meet our customers’ service demands because we provide the technology and scale it as usage requires.

LightGov’s egovmarkets.com is an online marketplace for government surplus sales and procurement listings. Through eGovmarkets we facilitate the distribution and sale of surplus property and the benefit of competitive bidding through procurement auctions. Customers of LightGov can offer their surplus property exclusively on their own websites with no competition with other jurisdictions. Our Procurement services include both RFP issuance and response and online reverse auction to allow governments to get the best price for the product. LightGov’s online services are provided to government municipalities, malls, airports, police departments, and even corporations looking for transparant disposition of surplus property. LightGov has recently been authorized by the Office of the United States Trustee to conduct online auctions for the Northern District of Ohio Bankruptcy Courts to dispose of their assets.

LightGov’s eGuardianship.com is an Online Integrated Management Tool that streamlines daily tasks, increases accountability and provides all reporting functions. It was built exclusively for the Guardian, Representative Payee, Group Home and the Fiduciary industry so it can work the way you work. By increasing efficiencies and eliminating duplicate tasks, eGuardianship can save you time, money, and allow you to grow and focus on what you do best. A few of the clients we provide services to are: Help Hotline, Personal Guardianship Services, Catholic Charities of Ashtabula County, and Valley Counseling Services of Ohio, Child and Family Services of Eastern Virginia, Cornerstone Guardianship Services of Albuquerque, Center for Behavioral Health of Indiana, and Gold Star Guardianship Services of Massachusetts.
